Thunder kills middle-aged man in Kwara

A middle-aged man named Adeyemi has been reported dead of injury and shock from a thunder struck during an afternoon rainfall.

Another victim of the thunder, an unidentified female, was said to have regained consciousness after being treated by some traditional healers – Sango worshippers.

The deceased, a bricklayer, was said to be working at a building site when the incident occurred at about 5.30 p.m. His clothes were burnt from the impact of the thunder and was immediately rushed to a nearby private hospital along with the female victim.

The victims were later referred to Iloffa, another suburb by the hospital management for proper traditional treatment after learning about the cause of the incident.
