Calvin Harris responds on his relationship with Taylor Swift
Calvin Harris is speaking out for the first time since his split from Taylor Swift, 26.
“The only truth here is that a relationship came to an end & what remains is a huge amount of love and respect,” the DJ, 32, wrote on his Twitter account Thursday, which Swift retweeted to her account.
Multiple sources told PEOPLE since the breakup news broke Wednesday that there was “no drama” involved in the relationship ending.
According to a Harris pal, the stars remain “friendly” and the DJ has nothing but respect for his ex-girlfriend.
“He very much admires her as a person and what she has been able to do with her career. This is what drew him to her in the first place,” said the friend.
